What if we visited Namaka, our rejuvenating urban oasis, together alongside a loving couple and through the eyes of a Float Coach?

They arrive hand in hand in the lobby and with enthusiasm in their eyes introduce themselves. They hand me a gift voucher, a present from friends for their wedding, and tell me that this day off for them is just perfectly in time. They tell me how exhausted they are, both physically and mentally, from having to organise their wedding while keeping up with work and family commitments.

I tell them that one never comes to Namaka by chance and that right now they have nothing else to do but to simply let themselves be, and allow to be guided by our gentle presence. They look at each other with relief and sigh to let me know that this is exactly what they need.

The image of a river comes to my mind. I imagine them as two leaves following the flow of the water, and I am just modestly there to make sure they are on the right path, both together and individually. It is indeed a question of apprehending their presence in the dimension of the couple while being careful not to amalgamate them in their own needs.

I look them straight in the eyes, individually, as if to acknowledge their unique presence and ask them to follow me to continue the journey…

I introduce them to our boutique and to our eco-responsible Swiss partners with whom we are happy to share our values. They are delighted to be able to use these different cosmetics free of charge during their shower and after their float in the Beauty room!

We continue our visit and take some time to get to know each other in our chill space, facing our magical garden. The scent of essential oils carries soothing and comforting effects, they tell me.

I explain to them how their unique adventure shall unfold and the benefits of each session:

The infrared sauna carries a deeper and optimal effect than a traditional sauna (detoxification, significant sweating, cellular renewal, revitalization of the metabolism, among others, in only 30 minutes)

The Enkidu, a transcendental treatment of synchronised sound and light that acts on the cerebral frequencies in a few minutes and allows you to instantly appreciate all the benefits of floating with a calmed mind.

The Epsom salt floatation, well known for its multiple virtues in terms of relaxation, rapid recovery, muscle and joint relaxation thanks to magnesium sulphate. The whole experience is carried in weightlessness by the chants of the whales and then in silence to reconnect with your own inner voice.

The massage in our therapy room, each one taken care of by two of our therapists who are happy to meet their expectations of relaxation and energy care.

The pine resin oxygenation therapy, to close this journey of well-being. 3 minutes of breathing relaxation to find the breath in their own life.

I smile… because the scene is offered to me as a gift, the joy of which only I know. I see in turn my own reality of this humanity that is learning to take care of itself and to admit the obvious: we are made to live with fluidity out of love for life and not survive with rigidity out of protection. It simply cannot be any other way.

They calmly go to the Beauty Room to get dressed and then arrive at the reception desk, personally thanking the Float Coaches.

They take the opportunity to make an appointment directly 15 days later for another float, this time separately and each of them benefits from the 40% discount from our campaign to support the follow up float. The second time is always magical because the body knows the place and the mind doesn’t wonder as much. Over time, it releases its resistance.

They ask us about the advantages of buying a pack of 3 or 10 floats and are delighted to learn that they are not nominative and not limited in time; an opportunity for them to spoil their loved ones and take care of themselves too.

My fellow Float Coach finalizes the steps with them as she is called to other tasks and I say my goodbyes to them by bowing my head, hands on my heart, having had the joy of accompanying them during these few hours out of time.

They catch us hugging each other to thank us, with a tender “tutoiement”.

We watch them walk out the door, hand in hand, as they did when they arrived, only that now something has changed in their aura. They are no longer the same. They have placed the weight of their heavy preoccupations in the hands of the Goddess Namaka and in return honor her divine presence with lightness…
